Terms of use
These terms govern your use of Medicostop. By using the service, you accept these terms.
Last updated: August 30, 2026.
1. The service
Medicostop is a technology platform for finding professionals and clinics, checking availability, booking or cancelling appointments, and managing profiles and schedules. Each professional or clinic is responsible for the care it provides and the information it publishes.
2. Not medical care or an emergency service
Medicostop does not provide diagnoses, treatments, or medical recommendations. In an emergency or when there is an immediate risk, use the appropriate emergency services; do not rely on Medicostop or an online booking.
3. Bookings and cancellations
An appointment is recorded when you receive confirmation. Availability may change before confirmation. Use the service channels to cancel and review any specific conditions provided by the clinic or professional. Medicostop does not process payments in the MVP.
4. User responsibilities
- Provide correct and current information to identify and manage the appointment.
- Protect credentials, codes, and cancellation links, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.
- Do not disrupt the service, impersonate others, automate abuse, or use it for unlawful purposes.
- If you book for another person, including a minor or dependent, confirm that you are authorized to provide their data and manage the appointment.
5. Availability and changes
We seek to keep the service available and accurate, but maintenance, failures, or outdated information may occur. We may correct, suspend, or modify features when needed to operate or protect the service.
6. Content and intellectual property
The Medicostop platform, brand, and software are protected by applicable law. Professionals and clinics remain responsible for and retain rights in their published content, and authorize us to display it to operate the service.
7. Responsibility
Medicostop is responsible for operating the platform to the extent required by law. It does not control or assume responsibility for clinical decisions, quality of care, professional conduct, or breaches attributable to clinics, professionals, or users. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable rights.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or applicable rules change. We will publish the current version and its date. Material changes will be communicated through a reasonable channel before they take effect where required.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Chile. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts without affecting non-waivable rights or applicable consumer protection mechanisms.
10. Contact
